Yesterday, there was a worldwide propaganda push by the
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to get people around the world to sit in darkness for an hour as a symbolic pledge to fight global climate change/ global warming. The event was called
Earth Hour. As I write this, the Google home page is still currently dark with the following message:
We've turned the lights out. Now it's your turn - Earth Hour.
There are very serious environmental problems, but global warming/climate change is a scam to coerce nations to give up their infrastructure, land, resources and to construct a global tax structure to bring the world under a socialist, neo-feudalistic csociety.
Now, I will not argue the science of global warming because admittedly, I have trouble even with basic math, but what I will do is let you read what the influential individuals and think tanks have to say about global warming:
"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill...All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself."
- Club of Rome,
The First Global Revolution, consultants to the UN.
"...we need to get some broad based support, to capture the public's imagination. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest."
- Stephen Schneider in a 1989 Discover Magazine interview
Stanford Professor of Climatology; lead Author of many IPCC reports
"no matter if the science of global warming is all phony...climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world."
- Christine Stewart, fmr Canadian Minister of the Environment
"A global climate treaty must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the greenhouse effect."
- Richard Benedict, State Dept. employee working on assignment from the Conservation Foundation
?Isn?t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn?t it our responsiblity to bring that about??
- Maurice Strong, former Secretary General of UNEP
"We must make the rescue of the global environment the central organizing principle for civilization.... [this] means using every policy and program, every law and institution, every treaty and alliance, every tactic and strategy, every plan and course of action...to halt the destruction of the environment and to preserve and nurture our ecological system. Minor shifts in policy, marginal adjustments in ongoing programs, moderate improvements in laws and regulations, rhetoric offered in lieu of genuine change -- these are all forms of appeasement, designed to satisfy the public's desire to believe that sacrifice, struggle, and a wrenching transformation of society will not be necessary."
Al Gore "Earth in the Balance "pp 269, 274
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed -- and hence clamorous to be led to safety -- by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
- H. L. Mencken
"The majority of humankind does not accept this system, despite claims of worldwide support. Even with Russia's ratification, 75% of the world's CO2 is emitted by, 68% of the world's GDP is produced in, and 89% of the world's population live in countries that are not handcuffed by Kyoto's restrictions. Like fascism and communism, Kyotoism is an attack on basic human freedoms behind a smokescreen of propaganda. Like those ideologies of human hatred, it will be exposed and defeated."
- Andrey Illarionov, Financial Times
"There is no consensus about the cause of the slight warming of the past century. We are disturbed that activists, anxious to stop energy and economic growth, are pushing ahead with drastic policies without taking notice of recent changes in the underlying science."
- Statement of Principle, signed by 55 of the world's leading atmospheric scientists, issued prior to the Rio Summit 1992
Just a little over thirty years ago, the same fear mongers tried to sell us that the climate had steadily been getting cooler.

Richard Haas, President of the Council on Foreign Relations has stated that terrorism and global warming are to be used as political tools to get nations relinquish sovereignty; to transfer nation's power under a global governing body (Uited Nations):
"Some governments are prepared to give up elements of sovereignty to address the threat of global climate change.
Globalization thus implies that sovereignty is not only becoming weaker in reality, but that it needs to become weaker. States would be wise to weaken sovereignty in order to protect themselves, because they cannot insulate themselves from what goes on elsewhere. Sovereignty is no longer a sanctuary. This was demonstrated by the American and world reaction to terrorism.

Here's just one of the big business phony environmental scams they have going:
Nonprofit Land Bank Amasses Billions: Washington Post
"The Arlington-based Nature Conservancy has blossomed into the world's richest environmental group, amassing $3 billion in assets by pledging to save precious places. Known for its advertisements decorated with forest and streams preserves millions of acres across the nation.
Yet the Conservancy has logged forests, engineered a $64 million deal paving the way for opulent houses on fragile grasslands and drilled for natural gas under the last breeding ground of an endangered bird species.
The nonprofit Conservancy has traveled far beyond its humble beginnings, when it relied on small donors and acquired a few small plots at a time. Its governing board and advisory council now include executives and directors from one or more oil companies, chemical producers, auto manufacturers, mining concerns, logging operations and coal-burning electric utilities."
So now that you get a sense of what the agenda of the influential players behind the global climate change movement is, here are a list of
real environmental problems:
Using Depleted Uranium as a Weapon video
Depleted uranium is chemically toxic. It is an extremely dense, hard metal, and can cause chemical poisoning to the body in the same way as can lead or any other heavy metal. However, depleted uranium is also radiologically hazardous, as it spontaneously burns on impact, creating tiny aerosolised glass particles which are small enough to be inhaled. These uranium oxide particles emit all types of radiation, alpha, beta and gamma, and can be carried in the air over long distances. Depleted uranium has a half life of 4.5 billion years, and the presence of depleted uranium ceramic aerosols can pose a long term threat to human health and the environment.
Crops 'widely contaminated' by genetically modified DNA
"US scientists are warning of a potentially "serious risk to human health" after the discovery that traditional varieties of major American food crops are widely contaminated by DNA sequences from GM crops."

Report: Army secretly dumped chemicals offshore
"The Army secretly dumped 64 million pounds of nerve and mustard agents into the ocean, along with 400,000 chemical-filled bombs, land mines and rockets ? either tossed overboard or packed into the holds of scuttled vessels, according to an investigation by The (Newport News, Va.) Daily Press."
Rocket Fuel Chemical Found in Food, Water Supply
Perchlorate, a chemical used in rocket fuel, is turning up in the nation's food -- in vegetables like lettuce and spinach -- and water supply.
Governor Schwarzenegger Backs Aerial Biochemical Spraying That Harms Children
"On September 9th, 2007 several planes hired by the State of California Food and Agricultural Department (CDFA) flying at an altitude of approximately 500ft sprayed the untested biochemical, CheckMate?OLR-F, on over 30,000 citizens in Monterey and other surrounding cities in California. This occurred without the permission of the citizens. The spraying continued for three nights from approximately 8pm to 5am. About 1,500 pounds of biochemical were dumped on the cities."
Water will be source of war unless world acts now, warns minister
"The world faces a future of "water wars", unless action is taken to prevent international water shortages and sanitation issues escalating into conflicts, according to Gareth Thomas, the International Development minister.
The minister's warning came as a coalition of 27 international charities marked World Water Day, by writing to Gordon Brown demanding action to give fresh water to 1.1 billion people with poor supplies. "If we do not act, the reality is that water supplies may become the subject of international conflict in the years ahead," said Mr Thomas. "We need to invest now to prevent us having to pay that price in the future."
