Obviously stealing is against the law and therefor RIAA has the right to prosecute and recover damages. But should they be held accountable for court fees in cases where the defendant is innocent? Should they have some kind of dispute resolution service to help ease the burden of all of this? What about actually proving that someone did something? Since civil litigation does not entail as much of a burden of proof, does that give RIAA the upper hand when combined with their financial resources to bully people around?
